About the event
Believe it or not, tea and bicycling go hand in hand. Drinking tea before and after a ride can help boost your energy levels, help you stay focused, and even help you bounce back after a challenging ride. That’s why Eugene Tea Festival (ETF) and Better Eugene-Springfield Transportation (BEST) are teaming up to bring you the Pedal & Pour Ride as a part of May is Bike Month programming! After all, you can’t spell team without tea.
The Pedal & Pour Ride will begin and end at Alton Baker Park under the sheltered picnic table area. Join us on May 28 at 9:00 a.m. to enjoy energy-boosting tea options to get you ready to cycle. At 10:00 a.m., we will meander at a relaxed pace along the river path, going about 4.2 miles in total before returning to Alton Baker Park for afternoon tea and light snacks. The event will conclude at 12:00 p.m.
The goal of this event is to highlight the importance of wellness and celebrate the benefits of tea and active transportation. We invite you to join us in taking the time to slow down, enjoy a cup of tea, and come together as a community.
